7N8D Offbeat Meghalaya with Wari Chora

After months of office work in Bangalore, a few of us decided to take a break and booked the Meghalaya trip with HiFlier Travels. The entire journey felt refreshing — from the living root bridges to the clear waters of the Dawki River and the hidden beauty of Wari Chora.

One thing we really appreciated was how well the trip was coordinated despite covering so many places in a short time. Even the long drives never felt boring because of the group atmosphere and fun conversations. Founder Ramesh and the coordinators were approachable throughout the trip and genuinely cared about everyone's experience and comfort. Meghalaya exceeded our expectations.

Our group came from Mumbai expecting good views, but we didn't expect to laugh this much. During one of the road trips, our captain turned the entire tempo traveller into a karaoke room and suddenly everyone became a singer. Wari Chora and Dawki were breathtaking, and the group vibe made the journey even better. Would definitely travel with HiFlier again.

I recently did the Meghalaya trip (including Wari Chora) with Hiflier in March, and honestly, it turned out to be an amazing experience. The group had people from different age groups and backgrounds, but everything blended really well.

A special shoutout to our team captain, Ronnie. He made a huge difference to the overall experience, always keeping everyone engaged, making sure we were informed, and just bringing a great vibe to the group. On a personal note, I had a couple of hiccups during the trip — I broke my phone and even missed my flight — and he went out of his way to help me sort both things out, including arranging accommodation. That really meant a lot.

Overall, I’d definitely recommend Hiflier to anyone planning a Meghalaya trip. Great management, great people, and a genuinely memorable experience.
