Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to your booking with Hiflier Travels. Please read them carefully as they form a binding agreement between you (the Client) and Hiflier Travels By confirming a booking, you agree to these terms.
1. Content Rights
Photos and videos taken on Hiflier Travels trips (by our team or clients) are the property of Hiflier Travels. We can use this content for advertising purposes. No one else may use the content without our permission
2. Payment
The full trip cost must be paid before the trip begins. Unpaid bookings may be canceled, and the booking amount will not be refunded.
3. ID Verification
All travelers must carry a valid government ID for verification before boarding. Bookings cannot be transferred, and only the names confirmed at booking will be allowed to travel.
4. No Refunds for Missed or Unused Services
If any part of the itinerary or any included activity is skipped, missed, or left unused for any reason, including illness, late arrival, emergencies, weather conditions, government restrictions, or personal choice, time managment, no refund, discount, or compensation will be provided for the missed services.
5. Responsibility for Belongings
Travelers must take care of their luggage and belongings. Hiflier Travels. is not responsible for any lost or missing items during the trip.
6. Departure Timings
Departure times are fixed. You must update your status with the trip coordinator and arrive at the pickup point at least 45 minutes before departure. If you miss the bus, no refunds will be given. We will call you twice before leaving.
7. Air Conditioning Policy
In hilly areas, the air conditioning will be turned off. The driver may also switch off the AC at their discretion for safety on rough or dangerous routes.
8. Health and Safety
Smoking and drinking are not recommended during the trip. Our tours include physically demanding activities (like trekking or camping), so ensure you are in good physical condition.
9. Misconduct and Behavior
Misconduct or misbehavior will not be tolerated. Misbehavior with trip coordinators, drivers, co-travelers, or homestay/hotel staff will result in termination of your trip. Legal action may be taken if necessary.
10. Travel Delays and Changes
Hiflier Travels. is not responsible for delays or changes due to factors like weather, road conditions, landslides, accidents, political closures, or any unforeseen events.
11. No Insurance Coverage
Hiflier Travels. does not provide insurance for sickness, accidents, theft, or other losses. Travelers are advised to arrange their own insurance.
12. Itinerary Changes
The itinerary may change due to factors like weather, road conditions, traffic or participant health. We reserve the right to adjust the schedule for safety, comfort, or any other reason.
13. Personal Responsibility
Travelers are responsible for their own safety. Hiflier Travels will not be held responsible for accidents, injuries, or loss of life during the trip.
14. Last-Minute Sightseeing & Schedule Changes
Due to unforeseen ground-level conditions, sightseeing closures, heavy crowds, local guide or authority instructions, road construction, traffic, or mountain road conditions, we reserve the right to skip any sightseeing point or modify the day's schedule, route, or itinerary at short notice. The Trip Captain/Trip Coordinator will make the necessary decisions based on local conditions and operational feasibility. Such changes are sometimes unavoidable in mountain regions.
15. Trip Merge Policy
Our 8N/9D, 7N/8D, and 6N/7D Meghalaya itineraries operate as merged groups for certain parts of the trip. Customers may need to wait for other batches or group members during transfers and coordination. They should be informed about this in advance and be comfortable with the group- merging arrangement, as it is part of our trip operations.
16. Trip Cancellation by Hiflier Travels
We reserve the right to cancel trips for any reason. If we cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (Force Majeure), Hiflier Travels will not be responsible for any expenses you have already incurred (e.g., non-refundable flights, parking fees, etc.)
17. Price Changes
Trip prices may change due to factors like fuel costs, taxes, or currency fluctuations. Always confirm the most updated trip price before booking. Once the trip is paid in full, any price changes will not affect you.
18. Trip Captain Policy
A dedicated Trip Captain will be provided when the group size reaches a minimum of 12 participants because our community trip costing is carefully evaluated based on this group size to ensure smooth operations and the best overall experience for all travelers.
19. Independent Contractors
Some services on the trip (e.g., guides, drivers, spa services) are provided by independent contractors. Hiflier Travels. is not responsible for their performance or any issues that arise from their services.
20. Legal Validity
If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest of the terms will remain valid and binding.
21. Right to Refuse Service
Hiflier Travels. may refuse service to any client at any stage for any reason, except for discrimination or legally protected reasons.
22. Updates to Terms
Hiflier Travels reserves the right to update or change these terms at any time. It is your responsibility to check for updates.
